So, what is a Scope 3?

Scope 3 emissions are carbon emissions that an organisation is indirectly responsible for. A prime example of this is business travel—if you flew to a meeting for work, your company would be responsible for the carbon emissions of the flight, not you.

Other examples of scope 3 emissions are any emissions that result from:
